A new decade brings a new beginning to our shop. After 10 years as a downtown Portland barbershop offering primarily men's cuts, shaves and men's color services, we have evolved into a more inclusive shop. 

The new Chrome is a barbershop, it’s a hair salon, it’s a fabulous crew of hairstylists and an excellent collection of hair products by brands like R+Co, Imperial Barber Products and Layrite, all under one roof.  We still offer the same great services by skilled stylists and barbers as our first ten years, but now with the added services of color and haircuts for all. We are now proudly a Barber Salon.

You can still enjoy the convenience of walking in for a great service or book your appointment online or on our app to be sure you are able to fit in with your favorite barber or stylist at a time convenient to you, without a wait. You can now come see us on the Eastside and Westside in Downtown Portland!  Appointments are recommended for all color services and consultations are required before the first service to assure accurate time is allowed to deliver exactly what you are looking for. All services, besides color, can be booked online or on our app.  

HAIRSTYLE APPOINTMENTS WITH LIFESTYLE AMENITIES

While at our downtown shop check out our billiards loft to relax before or after your service with a complimentary Hopworks Urban Brewery microbrew or hard seltzer. The loft is a great place to hang with your friends when you come in for a service before a night out or for a wedding party. Inquire about renting the loft or our entire space for a unique gathering with or without services included.

Or come to our Eastside location and grab a table on our patio and take in all the energy of one of the major intersections of our city, where North meets South and East meets West. A place where our entire community can come together and feel welcomed.
